    The military provides two options for the use of your Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
    The first option is living on base. Your second option is using your BAH to rent or buy a home off base. We provide you with military friendly information to help you maximize your BAH.

    • The Housing Management Office (580) 481-7235 will be you first point of contact when you receive moving orders and can answer all of your on- or off-base housing questions. They also provide services such as: counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement, housing referrals, and resolving tenant-landlord disputes.

    • Altus AFB on-base housing is privatized and operated by Balfour Beatty Communities (580) 397-4002. The 4 neighborhoods, Capehart, Centennial, Great Plains, and Sequoia offer a range of 2-4 bedroom duplexes and single family homes based on rank and family size. The home amenities can include: laundry rooms, fenced backyards and garages. The community amenities include playgrounds, tot-lots and fitness centers.
